Process to Obtain Permanent Residency in Mexico (FAST)

Have you already been to the Mexican consulate and received a resident visa stamp in your passport? Is it important for you to obtain your Permanent Resident Card in Mexico in 4 days or less?
I can help make that happen.

Prerequisites for This Expedited Process

1. You must have a valid Mexican resident visa stamped in your passport.
2. You must meet the financial solvency requirement. There are two options:
   • Investor: Average balance over the last 12 months of at least $2,932,750 MXN (approximately $183,000 USD).
   • Employee or Retiree/Pensioner: Consistent monthly deposits over the last 6 months averaging $58,655 MXN (approximately $3,665 USD).
3. Required documentation: Copy of both passports (if you hold dual nationality), or your passport plus your current residency card from your country of residence.

Day 1: Exchange Process (Canje)
We will go to the immigration office and submit all your documents.
You will wait approximately 3 to 4 hours while your application is processed. At the end of the process, your photo and fingerprints will be taken, and you will receive your Temporary Resident Card.

Day 2: Change from Temporary Resident to Permanent Resident
we will submit your documents to the immigration office along with your Temporary Resident Card.
Immigration will review your file and, if everything is correct, will issue a case number (NUT), confirming that your application is in process. After that, you are free to leave for the day.

Day 3–4: Receive Your Permanent Resident Card
In most cases, the process is completed the following day. However, you should allow one extra day for any unexpected delays.
We will return to the immigration office, your photo and fingerprints will be taken again, and you will receive your Permanent Resident Card.
